UGC - NET (ENVIRONMENT SCIENCE)
Dear Learners, The University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) is an exam designed to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for various academic roles, such as: Award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor. Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D. programs. Admission to Ph.D. programs only. Candidates qualifying for JRF are eligible for Ph.D. admission based on an interview under UGC guidelines. However, those qualifying for the "Assistant Professor and Ph.D. admission" category are not eligible for JRF. Similarly, those qualifying under the "Ph.D. admission only" category cannot apply for JRF or Assistant Professor roles. Marking Scheme: Each question is worth 2 marks. Correct responses earn 2 marks, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
